Feilding High School is proud to have 2 farms, Manawanui and Ngakaunui used for teaching. Both farms are run in conjunction by the farm manager Mr Mike Goodson. Students who take Agriculture courses at Year 10-12 are rostered onto a Farm Duty where they are out of class for up to 2 consecutive days a week. They work with Mr Goodson and carry out the daily tasks required to run the units, milking cows, calf rearing, docking, drenching, crutching, shearing, feeding pigs, fencing etc. Owning farms and offering hands on aspects of Agriculture courses is one of many significant points of difference that Feilding High School has to to offer.
